A Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program for Ethical & Safe Yoga Teaching

Programme type: Advanced CPD / CEP. It is not an entry-level qualification, or a degree, or a diploma, or a government licence, or a medical qualification, or a disease-treatment programme.

Proposed educational alignment: Health Sector Skill Council (HSSC) – Competency Education Programme (CEP) / व्यावसायिक संवर्धन ढाँचा. Alignment is not accreditation or a government licence.

YT-QSEP™ comprises 8 units totalling 70 hours. Delivery split:

• Self-Study & Capstone / स्वाध्याय, ऑडिट व कैपस्टोन — 15 hours. स्वाध्याय जर्नल, आंतरिक सुरक्षा ऑडिट, ई-पोर्टफोलियो निर्माण व मौखिक रक्षा

Total duration: 70 घंटे (70 Hours). Hour mapping in this portal follows the official unit weights and does not change because a training session or event is listed.

   Teaching Methodology, STCP™ & Inclusion

   YQAF™, Psychological Safety & Evidence-Based Yoga

   YPCF™, Quality Audit & Reflective Practice

   Professional Application, Practice Management – Capstone

Candidates work through the eight official units, complete mandatory safety documentation, and meet the published assessment scheme. Training sessions listed on the institutional timetable support delivery; they do not replace the syllabus.

न्यूनतम 80% उपस्थिति अनिवार्य (Attendance / उपस्थिति मापदंड).

Minimum attendance used by the existing readiness logic: 80%. Only institutionally confirmed attendance for an official programme session may affect official attendance calculations. Event registration, event attendance, seminar or workshop participation, and a Google Meet join attempt are not YT-QSEP™ course attendance unless the institution explicitly records that session as an official programme session.

The assessment structure is unchanged:

• Theory Assessment / सैद्धांतिक परीक्षा — 30% (MCQ + scenario-based professional judgement)
• Practical Competency / प्रायोगिक दक्षता — 30% (Live observation checklist — qualitative ratings)
• Case Audit / केस-आधारित सुरक्षा व गुणवत्ता ऑडिट — 20% (Recognize → Screen → Modify → Monitor → Document → Refer)
• Capstone Defence / Viva / मास्टर कैपस्टोन व मौखिक रक्षा — 10% (YP-CAP 08 weighted rubric)
• Reflective Journal / स्वाध्याय एवं आत्म-समीक्षा जर्नल — 10% (YPCF-LOG 01 guided entries)

Total 100%. Component and overall pass marks: 70% / 70%.

• Theory Examination: वस्तुनिष्ठ (MCQ) + संचित लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न. Pass mark 70%.
• Practicum & Mock Teaching: लाइव मॉक क्लास, अलाइनमेंट व प्रॉप्स सिमुलेशन. Pass mark 70%.
• Case-based Safety & Quality Audit: YQAF™ ऑडिट चेकलिस्ट एवं CAPA रिपोर्ट निर्माण. Pass mark 70%.
• Master Capstone (Viva): YP-CAP 08 जूरी के समक्ष केस प्रस्तुति व रक्षा. Pass mark 70%.
• Self-study & Self-review Journal: YPCF-LOG 01 मार्गदर्शित स्वाध्याय प्रविष्टियाँ. Pass mark 70%.

YT-QSEP™ is an advanced CPD/CEP programme. This assessment module does not itself constitute a degree, licence, NSQF qualification, medical diagnosis or medical treatment system.

Mandatory completion gates are those already configured in the portal. This handbook does not create a parallel system.

1. Attendance Requirement / उपस्थिति मापदंड. Minimum 80% attendance is mandatory (Gate 1 as published). Attest only when the institutional attendance record confirms this.
2. Theory Minimum / सैद्धांतिक न्यूनतम. Minimum 70% in the theory assessment. A score alone does not pass if the attempt is incomplete.
3. Practical Minimum / प्रायोगिक न्यूनतम. Every practical domain rated and none marked Not Yet Competent. Optional numeric score, if entered, must also meet 70%.
4. Case Audit Minimum / केस ऑडिट न्यूनतम. Case audit result Competent and, if a score is entered, at least 70%.
5. Capstone Defence / कैपस्टोन रक्षा. YP-CAP 08 weighted score at least 70% and the mandatory safety gate not failed.
6. YAP-HTP Dossier / YAP-HTP डोजियर. Track A YAP-HTP forms completed on this device, with no unresolved safety or referral issue.
7. STCP Completion / STCP पूर्णता. Safe Touch & Consent Protocol completed. Attest only from the institutional STCP record.
8. CPR / EAP Awareness / CPR / EAP जागरूकता. Emergency Action Plan drill and first-aid awareness completed within institutional scope.
9. Portfolio Completeness / पोर्टफोलियो पूर्णता. YAP-HTP dossier and YP-CAP 08 capstone record finalized on this device.

Professional safety is assessed through the Professional Safety, Screening & Referral Dossier, Gate 3 (Safety Gate), YAP-HTP, STCP and CPR/EAP awareness. A score alone does not pass an incomplete attempt.

The professional dossier is maintained under Portfolio. Track A YAP-HTP forms and YP-CAP 08 must be completed on this device as required by the existing portfolio completeness gate.

Open Portfolio.

YAP-HTP (Health Pre-Screening & Readiness) forms YAP-HTP-01 to YAP-HTP-05 are mandatory professional-safety records. They support screening, risk flags, progress logging, referral and incident follow-up. They are not a medical diagnosis.

STCP (Safe Touch & Consent Protocol) completion is a published competency gate. Attest only from the institutional STCP record. Hands-off teaching and consent boundaries remain in force for in-person and tele-yoga delivery.

CPR / Emergency Action Plan (EAP) awareness and first-aid awareness are completed within institutional scope. This portal does not itself issue a CPR licence or a statutory first-aid certificate.

Master Capstone / viva uses YP-CAP 08. Case-based safety and quality audit uses the published case-audit component (20%). Capstone defence remains a separate gate with a 70% minimum.

The Reflective Journal (YPCF-LOG 01) is 10% of the assessment scheme. A minimum of 1 guided entry is required before the journal component may be marked complete.

Assessment readiness is calculated from existing assessment, dossier and gate logic. Payment, event registration, a Meet join attempt, or a Professional Record entry does not auto-unlock readiness.

• Observe Disease Awareness ≠ Disease Diagnosis or Treatment in all teaching, documentation and communication.
• Complete YAP-HTP, STCP, CPR/EAP awareness, portfolio and assessment requirements as published in this portal.
• Treat this portal as a local institutional programme record, not as a government register or medical system.

This handbook does not add a separate disciplinary code. Any additional institutional code of conduct is issued by the centre and is not generated by this portal.
